Saving a Project/ChangesTo save a project click File/Save Project from the main menu. To save a project along with any changes to source click the "Save All" tool button or select File/Save All from the main menu. 
The save dialog is displayed listing items that have changed. 
Each item has a check box indicating if that item is to be saved. By default all items are checked. If you do not wish to save an item the uncheck it before clicking the "Save" button. Note: Existing files are renamed to have extension ".["<ext>"]" for example "Unit1.pas" would be renamed to "Unit1.[pas]".
